The Specifics of Lever Hoists

Kito lever hoists have a handle, or a lever, attached to a block that houses an internal gear system, ratchet, and either a length of load chain that travels over the internal gear, or a length of wire rope that turns through a pulley. By cranking the lever up and down to power the ratchet and pawl system, lever hoists can move the load a set distance per crank.

The direction of the internal gear can be easily switched to move the load up or down as needed, allowing for precise handling and movement of loads. The hook at the end of the load chain or cable allows for easy attachment to the load, while the hook attached to the housing of the lever block allows for secure support of the attachment.
